The record as a road

One family, told twice.

Ten stations in track order, clockwise from the gas station. Two watch from the crown of the tree; one knocks from outside the border. Pull any thread.

Engraved board map of the 22 Chances world: ten illustrated stations ringing an apple tree, thistle and rose border.

Keep 'em flyin'.

Rosemary

his bride, the first one

She carries her name.

An Irish woman who threw in with Stan and never wavered, and raised seven of them in the doing. She lived long enough to know the girl who would carry her name — a name that crossed a marriage instead of a bloodline to get there.

She ended up bein' mine.

A stranger who opened her door on Christmas Eve to a man carrying what he had, and fed him cookies while she talked about her boy. He had gone to be her angel that night — he drove home outranked.
